Business partners Claudia and Malinda found each other through their mutual lifelong love of fiber work. They found themselves attending similar classes and events and eventually became good friends. The winding conversations they hadas they processed fiber together often ended with a “what if” regarding ways to localize the processing of fiber for small farmers, and ways to make connections between fiber artists and the region’s fiber community.
With combined professional backgrounds in education design, performing arts, teaching, and many artistic endeavors, Claudia and Malinda have created a business designed to build success for others. Driven by a clear vision and diverse skill sets, neither founder is afraid to roll up her sleeves and do the work to solve challenges and find new ways to connect with and serve the fiber community.
